Finance Administrator

Location: Farmington, MI | Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Administrator to join our team. This role focuses on administrative tasks related to Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), supporting the finance department in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post customer payments, apply to accounts, and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Review, code, and enter vendor invoices for payment
  • Prepare and send customer invoices and account statements
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts and payment arrangements
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance department

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in AR, AP, or a finance/administrative role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, NetSuite) is a plus
